ORACLE, PL/SQL Developer

Job description:
Development
• Develops SW on the basis of tasks assigned by teamleader
• Inputs tasks assigned through the requirements management system
• Actively cooperates with teamleader on preparing plan and estimating the demands of the work
• Is responsible for delivery of work in time and high quality
• Informs on any deviations from plan on time
• Respects design patterns and published standards
• Uses assigned storage area and procedures for saving work

Documentation
• Creates and maintains programme documentation
• Following teamleader‘s instructions prepares parts of module documentation and submits them to teamleader

Design
• Following teamleader‘s instructions prepares part of Design Description (DD) documents
• Amends completed DD documents on the basis of specifications made during the development

Testing
• Performs unit tests individually and duly. Only SW where unit tests have been performed can be considered as delivered
• If necessary, hands over work directly to an appointed tester
• Without undue delay addresses mistakes identified during the testing of his tasks
• Depending on teamleader‘s instructions can be assigned to resolving mistakes identified in others‘ tasks

Service
• Following teamleader‘s instructions addresses servicing interventions in operational systems
• Any service intervention is reported to the helpdesk
• Only such service interventions are addressed that are assigned through BSR

We require:
• SQL, PL SQL, Oracle knowledge
• Knowledge of CASE tools (modelling of database schemes and processes, UML),
• DB platform ORACLE
• Knowledge of design and implementation of DB applications
• At least 3 years of experience in DB programming
• English on communicative level, Russian is an advantage¨
• Logical and structured thinking
• Team player
