IT Database Administrator

Position: IT Database Administrator

Country: the Czech Republic

For our client, a large international company and one of the leaders on the IT market, we are looking for IT Administration Specialists of particular operation systems and databases

Responsibilities:
• Installation, operation and maintenance of complex centralized computer systems
• Customer support on second- and third-level, development of new solutions and stabilization of existing ones
• Installation and operation of Oracle and DB2 databases
• Tivoli TSM installation and support
• Reorganization of database indexes
• Batch management, operation of file systems, achievements tests
We require:

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Fluent English – written and spoken (German or another European language is an advantage)
• Knowledge of database servers (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server) and RMAN
• Basic knowledge of operational systems (Windows NT, W2K, XP, UNIX, SUN, AIX, Linux), IP Services
• Knowledge of Tivoli is an advantage (DM, TEC, SWD, TSM, etc)
• Ability to work in international and multicultural environment
• Reliability, responsibility, flexibility, team spirit, communication skills
• Willingness to relocate to the Czech Republic
